Meditations on God

  • Companionship In Suffering

Do not forget who was there for you at your most vulnerable.

When you are at your lowest, most alone, frightened, and in pain, not everyone will be by your side to support and care for you.

In fact, most people will never even know about your suffering.

Of the ones who do know, very few will have the capacity to truly care.

This is not their fault and there is no reason to be hurt, angered, or to issue blame.

    It will not help anyway.

It takes a special kind of person to be there for you at your worst.

It is not easy, as we all have our own problems to deal with and most people are overwhelmed and overburdened by their lives as is.

Instead of feeling sorry for yourself over who was not there for you, use that energy to be grateful for the one or two who were.

  • Healthy Changes

    Healthy habits build healthy habits.

Start by making one healthy change today.

Make that change part of your daily routine.

Maintain this routine until it becomes a habit.

As you start to feel better from this healthy change in your life, you will begin to see other healthy changes you want to make.

Choose the behavior that will have the greatest impact on your life and your health, the one that will most positively affect all other aspects of your life and repeat this process.

Being healthier will naturally make you want to be healthier.

  • Start With Understanding

    Start with understanding.

If you want to be seen, heard, and understood by others, start by understanding who they are, what they value, and what motivates them.

From this place of understanding, a meaningful connection can be developed.

And it is through this connection that you also may be seen, heard, and understood.

Understanding and connection are the foundation of communication.

Without them, we are merely grasping for attention.

With understanding and connection, however, we are capable of accomplishing great things together.

  • Prioritizing Progress

If you want to make progress toward your goals, you need to establish a routine.

Without a routine, you are merely hoping to improve.

But life will not conform to your hopes.

Life will not make your progress easy or convenient.

There are an infinite number of distractions, excuses, and opportunities that will get in the way of your goals and your progress unless you prioritize them.

This is what a routine is for.

A routine allows you to prioritize your goals so that you can both make progress and track that progress over time.

A routine is useless, however, if you do not have the discipline to stick to it.

You are ultimately responsible for your own progress.

These are your goals after all.

  • Truth Kindly

    Speak your truth kindly.

The world needs your input, your perspective, and your participation.

There is no other you out there and you were put here to be involved in your own unique and special way.

Do not hide behind your fears, doubts, and insecurities.

Live out loud. Be vulnerable. Be bold. Be brave. Be yourself.

    Speak your truth kindly.

    We need you.
