Happiness Is A Decision
Insist upon happiness.

Demand it of yourself.

Demand it for yourself.

Be relentless in its pursuit.

Fight for it.

It will not simply come your way.

No one is going to give it to you.

You are not owed happiness.

Happiness is a decision.

Your circumstances do not determine it.

Your relationships do not define it.

While these things do matter, but they do not get the final say.

As with all things, happiness is impermanent,

It is a transitory state.

And yet, your happiness is your responsibility.

Do not give up on its pursuit

Knowledge For Living
Information gathering can become a form of procrastination.

Do not spend so much time gaining knowledge that you fail to act.

Progress and growth are built on action.

Information, knowledge, and data are merely the foundation from which you can make intelligent decisions and take informed action.

Although it must be noted that sometimes the best information leads us to correctly choose inaction or a change of action, action is and should be the goal of information gathering because life is meant to be lived, not just studied.

Studying or researching so much that you never do anything is essentially a decision not to live.

Do the intellectual work.

Study and gather information as needed, but use the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding you gain to live a better life, not to hide from life.

Responsible For Your Purpose
Do not let someone else’s unhappiness stop you from living the life you are called to live.

Your life is your responsibility.

You have to live with the choices you make and, ultimately, you have to live with the regrets that come from a life of unfulfilled potential.

Regardless of how others around you are living, what they value, and what their priorities are, you are not them.

You are your own person with your own purpose.

Find that purpose, pursue it with everything you have, and share whatever gifts you discover within yourself along the way.

Do not let anyone stand in your way, no matter who they are.

Do not allow other people’s doubts, fears, or regrets about their own misspent life slow you down or block you from pursuing your calling.

Rise above the negativity, push through the obstacles in your way, and blaze your own trail through the untrodden wilderness of courage and confidence.

Do not look back except to help bring others along who want to join you on the path of happy destiny.
