Called To Love
You do not have to try to fix everything.

Nor are you asked to.

Sometimes you are called to simply hear what is being said.

Sometimes you are called to witness what is taking place.

Sometimes you are merely asked to be a shoulder to be leaned upon.

You are not here to fix the world, but to be in the world with love.

Sometimes your loving presence alone is enough.

Walk toward your fear.

It will not kill you.

It is the gateway to your freedom.

If you can face your greatest fears, what else can stop you?

But you cannot do it alone.

Cry out for help and it will be given.

Your courage and your strength are not your own.

Anchored To Peace
As you go through your day, lots of things will come at you.

You will be distracted, disrupted, and thrown off course.

People will make demands on your time and not everyone will be kind to you.

This is simply the way of things.

Do not fight it.

Rather, find the place within yourself that is unmoved and unaffected by the distractions, disruptions, and inconveniences.

Anchor yourself to this place of peace and be still, even amidst the chaos.

Creating The World
Do not wonder why, when you criticize others, they criticize you back.

Do not be surprised when you ridicule others, that they ridicule you in return.

Do not be shocked when your words are full of venom and hatred, that the world hates you and wants to see you suffer.

For it is written that what you put into the world will be put back into you.

How you treat others is how you will be treated.

If you want to be treated with kindness, compassion, and mercy, start by treating others in this way.

Choose your thoughts, words, and actions carefully because, through them, you create the kind of world that you will live in.

Slowly Awakening
Sleeping is not something you can try to do.

In fact, the harder you try to sleep, the more difficult it becomes.

Sleep happens not through effort, but by giving in and allowing your exhaustion to overtake you.

Spiritual awakening is much the same.

You cannot make yourself have a spiritual awakening.

The process of spiritual transformation cannot be forced or rushed.

You can, however, give in to the process and allow yourself to be awakened slowly, patiently.
