Once you, yourself, have done something brave, it becomes easier to celebrate the bravery of others.

You know how difficult it is to step forward and put it on the line.

You have experienced fear, doubt, and internal resistance, and you have taken courageous action in spite of these.

This gives you empathy for others who face and overcome such challenges, no matter how insignificant these challenges may seem to those who have never done so.

You know the strength it requires to step into the dark unknown and to continue moving forward without promise of light or comfort on the other side, and so when you witness this strength in others, you rejoice.

There is no brave way around fear, only through it.

There is no courage without risk.

Vulnerability, not safety, is the way of true strength.

Having experienced this, you celebrate those who choose the path of bravery because you know how difficult it is, but you also sympathize with those who do not choose this path because you know how difficult it is.
