When you feel alone
and unloved
God is with you
when you feel rejected
and unseen by the world
God knows you and wants you
when you sit in solitude
waiting for someone to care
God is beside you
when you cry out for help
God hears you
reach out to Him
and His hand will be there
to guide you into love

We must not
use our spiritual gifts
as a platform
for judgement of others
for we are not unlike them
we are capable of
every form of evil
ill intention
and misunderstanding
whatever small degree
of goodness we have
has been graced upon us
undeservingly
thus we are commanded
to love others
as we have been loved
that through our love
and forgiveness
they may gain some glimpse
of the great magnitude
of love and mercy
God has for them
if only they accept it

Spiritual growth
does not happen
at the speed of our desires
it happens
at the speed of our needs
and we neither know our needs
nor how to attain them
we are asked therefore
to trust God’s plan
and to move forward
in faith
because beyond our understanding
we are loved
