  • Loss And Love

    The bittersweet feeling of loss
    the grief and sorrow
arising from the depths of our being
    feels eternal
    and insurmountable
as if we never were before this
and we will never be beyond it
    but as it fades
so does our memory of the pain
we return to who we were
    but different
    somehow deeper
for the loss that lives inside us
    leaves room
    for love past
    and love to come

  • Reaching Deeply

    You cannot heal
    someone else’s spiritual wounds
    with words
    or reason
    however
    you can be
    a living example
    of healing
    and a walking message
of the love that healing brings
allow the depths of your heart
    to speak deeply
    into that place in others
    where words and reason
    fall short of reaching

  • Separated From The Source

    What if
    the sadness you feel
is not your sadness at all
    rather
    it is the sadness
    of your soul
    separated from its source
    longing for connection
    aching to return
    to from whence it came

  • Falling Leaves

    This moment will pass
    whether pleasant or painful
    like the leaves of summer
    change color
    and fall
    turning into the very soil
that nourishes the trees they grew upon
    this moment will pass
    cherish this experience
    in its fleeting fragility
but do not hold onto the falling leaves
    be instead the tree
    rooted deeply
    into that which remains
long after this moment is gone
    knowing that you too
    will someday fall
    becoming one
    with that which sustains you

  • Path Of Peace

    Do not pray
    for the outcome you desire
pray only that the will of God
    be done
    and that your will
    be harmoniously aligned
    with God’s
this is the prayer of humility
this is the prayer of wisdom
this is the prayer of courage
to desire only that which God wills
    is the path of peace
