Temper your truth with love.

Do not use the truth as an excuse to hurt other people’s feelings.

Simply because something is true does not mean that it needs to be said.

If the purpose of the truth is to be helpful, it is counterproductive to speak the truth unkindly.

It is also not necessary.

For every unkind truth, there is a compassionate alternative.

Without love, truth can be cold and even cruel.

Do your best to not be cold and cruel also.

It is up to you to bring love and compassion to the truth before you share it.

It is up to you to bring love and compassion to the world.
