Alone With Ourselves

Sooner or later, we will be left to face that in ourselves which we have been avoiding, hiding from, and attempting to protect ourselves from.

We will be left with our fears, insecurities, and fragility.

Anger cannot save us.

It brought us here.

Anger will not help us escape the truth of who we are, our mistakes, and our regrets.

We must face ourselves, alone and unprotected.

This vulnerable state is the foundation from which we can rise up to be who we were meant to be, for ourselves and those around us.

But, this will require patience, courage, and compassion.
