  You never know what adventures life will take you on.

  You cannot predict the future.

  Your plans can change in an instant.

  The people you meet along the way will influence you in ways you can’t imagine.

  The person you become will be quite different from the person you imagine yourself to be.

  Remain open to possibilities and embrace the unexpected.

  You only live once so enjoy the ride.

• What You Think You Want

  Leave room for the possibility that you are short changing yourself with your desires.

  You only think you know what you want.

  Your desire blinds you from possibilities that you cannot imagine.

  Life may have way more to offer you than your limited imagination can fathom.

  By seeking only that which you think you want, you close yourself off to everything else that life has to offer.

  Furthermore, once you get what you think you want, it is very likely you will simply want something else.

  Remain open to the possibility that you do not know what is best for you and life may surprise you by making you happier than you could make yourself.

• Turning Down Opportunities

  In order to prioritize what is important, you must learn how to say no to that which is unimportant.

  Overcommitting yourself makes you less effective.

  You cannot be of real use to others if you are stretched too thin.

  If you are overextended, you cannot even take care of yourself properly.

  You must decide what is important and dedicate yourself to that.

  This means turning away from distractions.

  More difficult, however, it also means turning down opportunities that do not align with your priorities.

• Loosen Your Grip

  Do not hold on too tightly to what you have.

  When you do, you leave no room for anything new.

  There is so much more to life than what your finite imagination can conjure.

  Let go of what you think you want.

  You are likely selling yourself short anyway.

  Relax your gaze and your grasp.

  Leave room for mystery and possibility.

  Life may pleasantly surprise you.

• The Possibility of Possibility

  Remain open to new ideas.

  Your knowledge and experience are limited.

  You never know what you will learn from others.

  One idea has the power to change the entire trajectory of your life.

  Be willing to see the world from a new perspective.

  Be willing to change course if new, better information presents itself.

  Life has much more to offer than you can imagine and if you limit yourself to what you already know, you will truly sell yourself short.

  This does not mean that your ideas are wrong or that your perspective is worth less than other people’s perspectives.

  It does mean, however, that your willingness to see where you are wrong will enable you the opportunity to be right.

  Do not limit yourself to only that which you think you know.

  What you know to be true is only one side of the truth or one version of the truth.

  There is a whole world out there waiting to be discovered and experienced by those who remain open to the possibility of possibility.
