The goal is not to have more for the sake of more.
The goal is to have more of what matters.
Decide what is truly of value to you and seek that with all your power.
Protect that with all of your strength.
The rest is merely distraction.
True wealth is not the result of having more possessions, power, or prestige.
True wealth is knowing what matters and having that in abundance.
Don’t forget to have fun.
Life is serious enough.
Whether you like it or not, tragedy and hardship will find you.
There is no need to make your life unnecessarily difficult.
Smile more, laugh more, and play more.
Relax and enjoy the moment.
Make the decision to be happy.
You may not be able to live all of the lives you imagine.
You are going to have to choose what is most important to you.
And you may have to accept some limitations that you would rather not.
Not all paths will be available to you simply because you desire them.
Your task is to do your best with what you have to work with.
Your time here is precious and fleeting.
The art of life is making something beautiful within the limitations you are given.
When you live your life well, you don’t have to look forward to special occasions.
Every moment is precious.
Every occasion is a special occasion.
This day, hour, minute, and second will never repeat itself.
There will be no now like this now you are currently in.
Instead of looking forward, look around.
Are you spending your time well?
The reason we don’t like being bored is because boredom creates tension.
Tension is uncomfortable.
We want comfort.
We want resolution.
So we seek a million forms of distraction.
But life happens in the tension, and we are missing out.
Life is passing us by because we refuse to be bored.
