  • Perfect Timing

Your best ideas now may be better saved for later.

    Timing matters.

The right idea executed at the wrong time is the wrong idea.

    Be patient, but don’t procrastinate.

Don’t allow fear of failure to hold you back, but also don’t be so hasty that your ideas have no chance of success.

    Keep working, trying, and failing.

When the perfect idea is executed with the perfect timing, it feels like magic.

  • Trying Our Best

People are going to be who they’re going to be.

We are all capable of change, but change is difficult.

In spite of our best efforts, we tend to revert back to old habits and behaviors under pressure.

    No one is perfect.

We are all trying our best to be our best, to whatever degree we are capable of doing so, in this moment.

Give people the grace you expect for yourself when you make mistakes.

We can all benefit from a little bit more grace and forgiveness, both giving and receiving it.

  • Guaranteed Failure

There is a lot of risk in trying your best.

You may find out that your best is not good enough.

It’s possible that you give your all and you still fail.

    Failure is always an option.

    What is the alternative?

Are you going to quit before you even start?

If you give your all, you may come up short, but quitting guarantees that you will never win.

  • Contagious Energy

    Associations matter.

    Energy is contagious.

    Anger begets anger.

    Selfishness begets selfishness.

    Kindness begets kindness.

    Generosity begets generosity.

You become the energy you associate with most.

  • Humble Truth

Humility is knowing who you are, where you fit into the world, and being okay with that.

This doesn’t mean you have to settle for a station in life that you find unacceptable.

Rather, accept who you are regardless of your station in life.

With that acceptance you can begin to improve your life with realistic expectations.

The truth does not change based on your feelings about it.

Humility is merely a way to make friends with the truth.

Let humility be the foundation of your path toward progress.
