Healer Of Souls
Spiritual unrest
the disease of the soul
can not be healed
through worldy ideas
or worldly ways
that which makes you sick
cannot heal you of itself
you must go deeper
there is a solution for your despair
a promise of hope
peace and comfort
but you must first surrender
your pride
your fears
and your personal desires
to the Healer of souls
the Creator of souls
the God of love
who has sacrificed His love for you

Jesus Felt It All
Jesus felt it all
He felt the betrayal
the burden and the lonliness
He felt the suffering
the pain and the longing
He felt the absence of God
and the presence
the love and the forgiveness
therefore to live a life in Christ
does not protect you from feeling
it guarantees that you will feel it all
as He felt it all
and through it all
He will be with you always
He will never leave you
just as the Father was
is and will always be
in and with the Son
so too are they in and with you
through the Holy Spirit

Faith Sustains Me
As the waves of sadness
wash over me
and beat against
my soul’s shores
the sands of impermanence
erode
carried off
into the sea of forgotten tears
here I remain
clinging to the bedrock
that cannot be washed away
my faith sustains me
until the storm subsides
God is my strength
He will not forget me

faith, god, hope, strength
Walk In Freedom
I cling to the hem
of Christ’s garment
my sins have kept me blind
and crippled for so long
I would give my life
for even a moment of freedom
from this bondage
of heartache and pain
but He gave His life for me
He carried the cross for me
and died upon it for me
for my freedom
for my salvation
conquering sin
and rising from the grave
so that I may see the truth
of God’s love for me
that I may walk in freedom
from the sin
that tries to keep me
from that love

Through Faith And Grace
Relax and take it easy
there is no need to worry
or to scurry about
hurriedly trying to fix the world
to suit your desires
or appease your fears
rather
make a home in the quiet
settle into the space
between your thoughts
where there are no desires
and there are no fears
there is only trust
ascending from within you
to meet the love
descending from the heavens
slowly transforming you
into itself
through faith and grace
