  • The Needs Of Our Heart

If our heart is pulling us in one direction, but our feet are pulling us in another, we will inevitably find ourselves conflicted.

This internal conflict may manifest as confusion, discontentment, or frustration.

But these feelings are symptoms that something is out of balance, that the needs of our heart are not being honored by the movement of our feet.

  • Our Values Give Us Vision

Our values give us our vision.

They guide our decisions and give purpose to our actions.

Without a clear understanding of our own values, we are essentially lost, wandering aimlessly through life with no direction.

With a clear understanding of our values, however, our bearing comes into focus, our footing become firmer, and obstacles become opportunities.

  • Our Success

There is no universal standard for success.

This means our personal version of success will always look different from someone else’s.

We have to define what it looks like for ourselves relative to our goals.

And we also have to be careful to not get distracted by other people’s standards for or opinions about success as we pursue our own goals based on our own values.

  • Valued

Deep down, each of us wants to feel respected and appreciated.

We want to be seen and heard, and we want to feel as if the people around us at least try to understand us.

We want our presence to matter and for our input and output to be of value to the community we are a part of.

Without this, we will never feel fulfilled in our work.

With this, however, our work will not feel like work at all.

  • Light On The Unseen

We are blind to many of our weaknesses, as well as to our hidden strengths.

This blindness often prevents us from seeing and pursuing that which is best for us.

So we need others to shine a light on what we cannot see.

When the right people appear and we are ready to see what is shown, our lives will change for the better.

We will change for the better.
