Meditations on God

  • Into The Light

Your insecurity is the gateway to your creativity.

    Dive into it.

    Explore it.

    Get to know it.

Do not shy away from it.

    Lean in.

Beneath your insecurity lies your uniqueness.

If you want to find your creative voice, start with that which frightens you the most.

Start with those parts of yourself that you are ashamed of, that you want to hide from or cover up, and that you hope to never have to face.

It is in this place that your personal truth resides.

Make yourself at home here and share what you find.

When you do, you may discover that others carry the same burdens as you.

They are simply waiting for someone to be brave enough to carry them into the light so they can follow.

  • To Be Yourself

Who would you be if you were not afraid of what others thought?

Would you have chosen a different path?

Would you be someone else by now?

    Would you act differently?

    Would you dress differently?

Would you have different hobbies or a different occupation?

It is not too late to be yourself.

But tomorrow it may be, for tomorrow is promised to no one.

  • Retrace Your Steps

    Retrace your steps.

Think back to when you were young, innocent, and care-free.

    Remember who you were.

Meditate on that which excited you, brought you joy, and sparked your enthusiasm.

That person is still inside you.

That inspiration, passion, and curiosity are still a part of you.

Tap into that place where the light of your soul glows unfiltered and unobstructed by the fear, judgement and cynicism you have collected throughout the years.

That light is there for you.

Let it guide you to your truth.

  • Light Your Way

Never allow your enthusiasm to be stifled by someone else.

Life is difficult enough without letting others crush your spirit.

    Let your enthusiasm guide you.

Use it to light your way through the darkness.

Protect your enthusiasm because when you have nothing left to pull you through, it is a reminder of why you should keep going.

  • Be Yourself Loudly

    Trust yourself.

    Listen to your inner voice.

Spend time alone and without distraction.

    Allow your truth to emerge.

    Follow where it leads.

    Unearth your calling.

It is in you, waiting to be discovered.

    Remember who you are.

There is work to be done.

You are the only one who can do it.

You have a unique contribution to make to this world.

    Distraction is procrastination.

    Be yourself loudly.

    Hiding helps no one.
