  • Uncommon Gifts

The more uncommon you are, the less you will have in common with others.

This can make life seem difficult at times.

You will experience moments of extreme loneliness and confusion.

Please trust that you are the way you are for a reason.

Your uniqueness may feel burdensome now, but it actually holds the key to your freedom.

    Your uniqueness is your superpower.

Keep your head up and be proud of who you will grow into becoming.

  • Prepare For Success

Set yourself up for success by being prepared.

Don’t rush into things hastily when you don’t have to.

Take your time and plan things out.

The more time you spend trying to get things right, the easier it will be to execute your plan.

The work you do on the front end will pay off later.

There is no point in setting yourself up to fail simply because you are in a hurry.

Don’t make something an emergency that does not have to be.

  • Meaning Or Attention

Are you doing work that you are proud of or are you doing work for likes and follows?

Doing meaningful work is not the same as working for attention.

The world needs more of the former and already has an overabundance of the latter.

Your job as a creative is to make more art, not to make more noise.

Focus on doing work you are proud of.

Be the quiet voice of reason amidst the chaos.

Feed your soul, not an algorithm.

  • The Right To Be Wrong

Reserve the right to be wrong.

Be willing to accept that you don’t know everything.

You may even find it’s a relief.

Life is much easier when you don’t have to be right all of the time.

You’ll get into fewer arguments because you won’t have as much to argue about.

Instead of having to constantly prove your point or defend your position, you can just live your life.

In the willingness to be wrong there is freedom.

  • Helping Others

If you are feeling down, turn your thoughts toward helping others.

If you are angry or resentful, turn your thoughts toward helping others.

If you feel sorry for yourself, turn your thoughts toward helping others.

If you are anxious or afraid, turn your thoughts toward helping others.

If you feel confused and out of place, turn your thoughts toward helping others.

If you are uncertain or insecure, turn your thoughts toward helping others.

If you want to help yourself, turn your thoughts toward helping others.
