Meditations on God

Keep me close
to you Lord
in this time of tribulation
and consternation
while the wicked and vengeful
lash out at one another
filling the world
with fear and hatred
fill me with your peace
dear God
help me to be a vessel
of the love
that settles stormy seas
and heals the sick
