Our very prayers
are a gift from God
the love we feel
in our hearts
graced upon us
through the Holy Spirit
for we are nothing
without the Lord
there is no holiness
within us
save for that holiness
bestowed upon us
by He who is holiness itself

Before The Lord
My worries and wants
are set before the Lord
He is my comfort
He is my peace
there is nothing I need
that He does not provide
my mind is stilled
and my heart is made content
in and through Him
