  but hear me
  people of God
  this is not your home
  you are just passing through
  do not allow
  the ways of the world
  to distract you
  from your call to God
  listen for his quiet voice
  amidst the chaos
  he will lead you out of darkness
  by the lamp of his love

• Unworthy And Loved

  To feel unworthy
  of God’s love
  is a tragedy of the soul
  the gateway to shame
  and isolation
  consumed by pride
  we hide in darkness
  for fear of being exposed
  in our brokenness
  but to God
  nothing is hidden
  all of our flaws
  are exposed
  in the divine light
  and yet we are loved
  exactly as we are
  even in our unworthiness

  draw me into your light

  enlighten the dark corners
  of my soul

  that every part of me
  may know you and your will
  make me a vessel

  and kindness
  ever decreasing in self
  as you increase in me
  for the sake of love
  eternally gifted
  even when undeserved

  what do you do next
  do you close your eyes
  as if it was nothing
  but a moment
  and go back to
  who you were
  or do you hold it
  in your heart
  allowing it to transform you
  until you yourself
  become that light
  unto the world around you
