In God’s image
we are created
in love
for the essence of God
is love
and from this love
we are commanded
to love God
and one another
as ourselves
for not one of us
being born of love
and purposed to love
is undeserving
of love
just as we
have the divine right
to be loved

The divine thread
connecting us to God
is fragile
and easily broken
but not by Him
in truth
we are the thread
in reality
we cannot break away from God
our hearts are woven
into the divine tapestry
that is His love
we simply forget
who and what we are
believing we can be other than
what He has made us to be

Do not let anyone tell you that creative work is impractical.
Conformity is impractical.
Complacency is impractical.
Ignoring inspiration, denying your impulse to create, and resigning yourself to a the dubious safety of mundanity is impractical.
A lifetime of regret and remorse over wasted desire and talent is impractical.
Draw. Paint. Write. Sing. Dance. Act. Play. Create!
Let it out!
Put your creative work into the world.
We need it.
You need it.
There are few more noble callings than making life more beautiful, more meaningful, and more bearable for others.
Art is powerful.
It changes lives, it changes the world, and it changes you.
Heed the call, follow your muse, and enjoy the journey.
Creativity is divinity expressing itself.
We are not our fears, our worries, expectations, or anticipation.
Nor are we our shame, remorse, or regret.
We are not even who we imagine ourselves to be…
any more than are we who others think or say we are.
We are simultaneously so much more and so much less than these.
Our essence cannot be defined.
It has no boundaries nor limitations.
Beneath and beyond all of our ideas, opinions, beliefs, presumptions, and prejudices, our true selves await patiently to be discovered.
We are infinity remembering itself.
