The opening of your heart
reveals the dark corners
within which you have hidden
and the sharp edges
you have used for protection
to keep love out
but love is persistent
once you have answered its call
love will find a way
lighting up the corners
and smoothing down the edges
until only love itself remains

and awesome
what do you do next
do you close your eyes
as if it was nothing
but a moment
and go back to
who you were
or do you hold it
in your heart
allowing it to transform you
until you yourself
become that light
unto the world around you

Sleeping is not something you can try to do.
In fact, the harder you try to sleep, the more difficult it becomes.
Sleep happens not through effort, but by giving in and allowing your exhaustion to overtake you.
Spiritual awakening is much the same.
You cannot make yourself have a spiritual awakening.
The process of spiritual transformation cannot be forced or rushed.
You can, however, give in to the process and allow yourself to be awakened slowly, patiently.

Tomorrow is just another day.
It is nothing special.
You will not magically transform into some better version of yourself overnight.
Who you are tomorrow is the result of what you did today.
So do something today to make your life better.
Take action now in the direction of the person you want to become.
It will take time, effort, and dedication.
Meaningful change happens slowly, over a long period of time.
And it will not be easy.
That is why you should not wait until tomorrow to get started.
Anyway, tomorrow does not exist.
It is a figment of your imagination.
All you have is now.
