Meditations on God

This day belongs to God
as did all the days before
as will all the days that follow
every moment you are given
is given by grace and love
from the one
who also gave you life
and breathes into you
every breath
that sustains you
prayer is an acknowledgement
prayer is a thank you
prayer is a gift
given back to God
