You may have to try many things before you find your thing.
And your thing may not be just one thing.
People who question or criticize changing tastes and changing priorities may never understand this.
Most of us are not born knowing our calling.
We have to try many paths before we find our path.
Do not be ashamed, therefore, if you feel more lost, confused, or even playful than the people around you.
It is possible that they found their way earlier than you.
But it is also possible that they gave up trying earlier than you too.
There is nothing wrong with being unwilling to accept your circumstances at face value, with feeling discontent with mediocrity, wanting more from your life, and seeking a higher purpose.
Do not give up and do not give in simply because it looks easier because there is nothing easy about living a meaningless life of unfulfilled purpose.
