Meditations on God

Some people seem to fit in just right.

Whatever they do and wherever they go, they appear to know how to act and how to get along.

What is difficult for others seems to come naturally to them.

It is as if they have been given an instruction manual on life and relationships, and they make it all look easy.

If you are not them, you are not alone.

If life and relationships feel confusing to you, like you just cannot seem to fit in or get along, you are not the only one.

If you always feel just a bit out of step with everyone else, either slightly ahead or slightly behind no matter what you do, do not be dismayed.

It may not feel like it now, but there are others like you.

There are others for whom this world has never quite felt like home.

You simply have not met them yet, but you will.

And when you do, it will feel like home and the rest of the world will no longer matter.

Do not give up.
