Be careful not to hold onto your creative work so tightly that you squeeze the life out of it.
Of course, you care about the work you create.
If you did not care about it, it would have no beauty.
It would have no soul.
But once you put your creative work into the world, it no longer belongs to you.
It belongs to the people who interact with it.
And as the world interacts with your work, your work is changed.
It evolves with every interaction, becoming something new and different over time.
You must learn to let it go and to become that which it was intended to be.
Creative work is not meant to be kept in the dark, unseen, unheard, untouched, and unchanged by the world.
If you try to keep it to yourself, to hold it tight so that it remains as you originally imagined and intended, it will not be allowed to live the life it was destined to.
Let your creations go.
You have more work to do.
