What you are good at is not necessarily what you are called to do.
Your skills and talents may not be aligned with your purpose.
Skills and talents often develop out of necessity.
Your purpose, however, is something you must choose to pursue.
It is something you must work for.
Even if awareness of your calling comes to you with no thought or effort on your part, its actualization will require work.
And this may mean turning away from what you are good at in order to pursue your purpose.
This will be uncomfortable and it will not be easy, but the alternative is to live a life of unfulfilled potential.
In order to pursue your calling, you must be willing to start over, to be a beginner, and to know nothing other than what you must do.
And that is enough to make a beginning.
