If you wait for the perfect conditions to arise before doing something courageous, you will never do anything courageous.
You can try to prepare yourself to be courageous, but there will always be more that you can do.
You can work harder, plan better, consider more contingencies, and mitigate more risks.
At some point, however, you simply have to act.
You have to do the thing you are scared of.
Of course, you want to be both courageous and safe, but courage is not required when there is no risk involved.
Vulnerability and courage go hand in hand.
You cannot be both perfectly safe and courageous at the same time.
Courage demands that you act in spite of your vulnerability, or even because of it.
Prepare as well as you can, hope for the perfect circumstances and timing, but when the opportunity arises and courage is required, you simply have to act.
Courage is proven through action not preparation.
