  • Sharing Bravely

The creative act is, by its very nature, generous.

That which is created is meant to be shared.

Sharing is what gives life to your work.

Do not keep your art to yourself.

We need your art in the world.

It takes courage to put your creations out there.

    Share your work bravely.

  • Your Muse Is Waiting

Do not wait for the muse.

The muse is waiting for you.

She is waiting for you to get serious.

She is waiting for you to start working.

She is waiting for you to be worthy of her attention.

She is waiting for you to prioritize your creative calling.

If you show up, ready to work, your muse will be there to greet you.

  • Yourself

    Know yourself.

Know your strengths and your limitations.

Accept the truth of who you are with no shame and no excuses.

    Respect yourself.

    If you don’t, who will?

    Be yourself.

You will be happy you did.

  • Peaceful Absence

Simplicity is more complicated than it appears.

It takes a lot of work to get to effectively simple.

You have to try and fail many times over until you get to that which is essential and true.

    Simplicity requires discernment.

It requires that you reject the unimportant.

    Simplicity is beautiful and precise.

In a world full of so much that is unnecessary, simplicity is its peaceful absence.

  • Future Wins

When you put yourself out there, there is always a chance you might lose.

If you are going to lose, lose taking risks.

    Lose being yourself.

    Lose giving your all.

Lose with nothing left in reserve.

Lose with grace, dignity, and pride in your efforts.

Losses like this are not losses, but lessons for future wins.
