Meditations on God

We all know God
He is in the ray of sunshine
that gives us pause
as it peaks through the clouds
in the flower’s perfume
that makes us smile
as we walk by
in a child’s laugh
that draws the same out of us
as it catches our ear
in these fleeting glimpses
we see Him seeing us
we hear Him hearing us
we feel Him reaching out to us
and in these moments
in His love for us
He gives us a choice
to can either turn to face Him
or deny Him and turn away
