If you spend too much time worrying about what other people think about you, you will begin to lose sight of who you are.
In truth, what other people think of you is none of your business.
While this is not an excuse to behave badly, it is a mindset that will free you from uselessly fretting over the opinions and feelings of others.
At the end of the day, regardless of what others think, you have to live with yourself.
If all of your time and energy is spent trying to please, or at least not displease others, your life is no longer your own.
Trying to be who you are while also trying to be who others expect, desire, or imagine you to be is impossible, not to mention exhausting.
It is difficult enough to be yourself without worrying about what others think.
