Risk is scary.
And the more something means to you, the scarier it is.
There is no way around this.
Fear is a precursor to courage.
If you want to do something great, if you want to do something meaningful, you must face your fears and take the necessary risks.
There are a million reasons not to, however.
There are a million excuses, explanations, and rationalizations to choose from, and all of them may be rooted in truth.
It is logical to be afraid of taking risks.
You could fail, after all.
If you take a chance on your dreams, things could go horribly wrong.
If you step forth bravely into the unknown, all of your fears may very well come true.
Remember one thing, however.
Failure is not reserved solely for those who take risks.
In fact, you can play it safe and still fail.
