Worry is a story you tell yourself about things that may never come to pass.
It is a story you tell yourself about how you will experience a future that is uncertain and that exists only in your imagination.
You cannot predict the future by worrying about it.
What is going to be will be.
What you can do by worrying, however, is to ruin the way you experience the present.
Worry takes you out of this moment, the moment that you actually have the power to influence, and puts you into a future that is a lie and over which you have no control.
Worry divides you.
It separates your attention from your existence and makes you less present, less aware, and less responsive to this moment.
It distracts you from what is happening now for the sake of what may or may not happen later.
Worrying is disempowering.
If you want to have a better future, focus on what you have the power to change.
Make a decision to be present in this moment, to do what you can now, and let the future worry about itself.
Life is going to happen whether you worry about it or not, so you may as well choose to enjoy it as it does.
