Insist upon happiness.

Demand it of yourself.

Demand it for yourself.

Be relentless in its pursuit.

Fight for it.

It will not simply come your way.

No one is going to give it to you.

You are not owed happiness.

Happiness is a decision.

Your circumstances do not determine it.

Your relationships do not define it.

While these things do matter, but they do not get the final say.

As with all things, happiness is impermanent,

It is a transitory state.

And yet, your happiness is your responsibility.
