God does not exist in “what if.”
“What if” is the home of fear, anxiety, and expectation.
It is the place where hope and anticipation live, but where presence and appreciation die.
God does not exist in the future of our imaginations.
He does not reside in our wishes or worries.
God exists in what is.
His spirit is found in the quiet patience of this very moment.
It is only here and now where we will find comfort, peace, and rest in His embrace.
But, we cannot look for it or we will miss it.
God’s love is neither sought nor found.
It is already within us and around us, gifted to us in all moments.
We need only acknowledge it and accept it.
