Meditations on God

I am listening
O Lord
I am willing to hear
what you are saying
I humbly submit myself
to your loving will
and yet there is so much
resistance in my heart
the temptations
are limitless
and my selfish ways
are abundant
speak to me
O Lord
break through my walls
of pride and fear
and speak to my heart
