Meditations on God

If it were up to me
I would have settled
for so much less
than what God has given
left to my own devices
I would have stopped seeking
a thousand times over
choosing to remain as I am
but God has a better plan
he desires so much more
for and from me
than I can imagine
he urges me to keep going
and gives me the strength
to carry on
