Meditations on God

The ways of the Lord
are righteous and true
while the ways of the world
are wicked and corrupt
let me rest not
upon this broken world
relying on it
for comfort and guidance
but upon the Lord
who leads me away from evil
and out of darkness
into the fullness
of his promise and light
