Meditations on God

Some are called
to renounce the world
in all ways
to live in poverty
solitude and seclusion
in a life of prayer
for God alone
and some are called
to renounce the world
in spirit only
to live in the world
while not being
of the world
to be meek-hearted
and compassionate
peacemakers
amongst the fallen
