Smiling At Creation

The rustling bush
draws my attention
as the red bird emerges
and takes hurried flight
finding a peaceful glide
on the quiet breeze
that carries it away
a smile emerges on my face
but I am not its source
it is as if God
smiles through me
at His own creation
acknowledging
that it is good
a thought
that makes me smile
once again
