Meditations on God

Grace is not earned.

There is nothing you can do to deserve It.

You cannot work your way into grace.

Grace is given.

It is gifted.

All you can do is to prepare yourself for it, quietly, humbly, patiently, so that you may recognize grace’s works within you.

And yet it has never not been, abiding in you, sustaining you, guiding you, even, or especially when, you are at your most flawed and least deserving.
