The problem with making others feel bad in order for you to feel good is that it doesn’t work.
Putting someone else down may give you a brief sense of accomplishment or satisfaction, but it won’t last.
As the dubious and fleeting pleasure wears off, you crash.
You go back to feeling bad about yourself and your life again.
In order to feel good again, you have to put someone else down again.
This cycle repeats over and over again, but it never really solves your problem which is that you are insecure about your own worth.
Until you solve the problem of your own self-worth, you will continue to seek happiness in ways that will only lead to greater dissatisfaction.
