Meditations on God

Heavenly Father
forgive us
for seeking vengeance
against one another
for you have told us
that vengeance
belongs to you
have mercy on us
for our lack of mercy
as we seek worldy justice
against our enemies
and have forgotten
about our own sinful
indescretions against you
please pity us Lord
for we are lost children
fighting over scraps
blind to the wealth
and abundance
you have promised
to provide
if only we put our faith
in you
